TRIVIAL PULSE

She wondered what the feeling was, a thundering pulse that shook her entire being; vibrating her soul. A feeling that she had whenever she was with them. She wished that it would last forever and ever; however naive her thoughts were, she still did. Many times she thought of giving up, but reminiscing on the days they would hold each other tight and gaze at the setting sun, she put those thoughts aside, and cherished her time together with them.

Caressing her rain soaked cheeks, she sighed in anguish as her tears that were hidden by the rain cascaded down her face. How foolish she had been to believe that the friendship would last forever. Her body shook, but it was not from the excitement that she normally felt; Her body shook from the cold and the loneliness. Her phone had rang many times but she had long chucked it aside. She knew it was impossible, but still, somewhere inside of her; a little portion of her heart begged her to never give up on the friendship. When her phone rang for the fiftieth time, she lifted her shaky hands and pressed receiver to her wet ears.

Even though she had thought it wasn't possible; when she was on the verge of giving up, her friends broke through the wall that surrounded her empty heart, and pulled her out of the thorns that entrapped her in the memory of separation. Even though they knew it might not have been possible to retain that friendship forever, they carved the same thing into each of their hearts, for them to take it with them wherever they went, and whatever path they chose in life. Even years after they took their separate paths, and traveled different routes of life, that warm pulse never left her. She never had to feel lonely again, because she knew, that the trivial pulse; the constant beating inside of her that racked her entire being, was evidence of their friendship that was carved into each of their hearts.

Friendship is a single soul dwelling in two bodies. [ For our case it's four bodies. ]

An insincere and evil friend is more to be feared than a wild beast; a wild beast may wound your body, but an evil friend will wound your mind.

I value the friend who for me finds time on his calender, i cherish the friend who for me does not consult his calendar.

The only way to have a friend is to be one.

I have friends in overalls whose friendship i would not swap for the favor of the kings of the world.

Friendship needs no words. It is solitude delivered from the anguish of loneliness.
